Take a virtual tour around one of the UK’s earliest centres of the Industrial Revolution - Holbeck Urban Village – a key regeneration area in Leeds

Click on the link below to navigate interactively through Holbeck. Then simply point the mouse in the direction you wish to travel and hold down the left button. The left button controls the movement – lift your finger and you’ll stop. You can alter the speed and type of navigation using the tool bar.

Technical Note: Unlike the CD version, which is rendered using a computer games technology visualisation tool, the online model is hosted on a server and streamed down to your connecting browser, where it is then rendered using an ActiveX control. This allows the model to be accessed from anywhere around the world at anytime provided you have a reasonably fast internet connection. ActiveX control must be enabled within your Internet security settings.

Please note: Users behind a firewall must allow an outgoing tcp connection on port 443 (secure http).
